Short names and spelling variants can be hard to confirm from a sparse public report. If a record may have changed after a court appearance, call jail staff because release, transfer, and furlough events can move faster than public review.

Medical services are available through PrimeCare Medical Inc., and the county notes 24/7 medical, dental, and mental health services.
State Prison vs Mercer County Jail
A person missing from the Mercer County jail roster may be in state custody, released, transferred, in another county facility, or listed under a different spelling. Mercer County Jail Visits
Mercer County Jail allows video visits through the inmate tablet system and in-person non-contact visits. On-site visits are limited to 30 minutes. Visits must be scheduled through the Booking Department at 724-662-2700 ext. 2532, the day before after 7:00 p.m. and no later than 7:00 a.m. on the day of the visit. A visitor must be pre-approved and on the inmate's visitation list, and a current valid photo ID is required.
